Matt Triplett, (Columbia Falls, Montana) won Round 1 of
the 25th PBR Unleash The Beast World Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Wednesday night win took him from No. 16 to No. 13 in
the world standings.
Triplett rode Little Tucker (Patterson/Halpain) for 89.25
points to earn $35,000 and 300 world points.
This puts Triplett 3,589.16 points behind the current first place bull
rider, Kaique Pacheco (Brazil).
“He should have bucked me off. I kept shoving my feet down
and hanging on,” Triplett said. “My dad
taught me my whole life, you don’t quit until your head hits the ground.”
